Greg's Story

Greg grew up in West Haven, where he was an honors student and standout athlete, earning team MVP honors while leading West Haven High School to an undefeated state championship football season ranked 11th in the nation.
A graduate of Georgetown University, Greg began his career in education teaching in Harlem, followed by a return to West Haven and then a decade of teaching in San Diego. During this time, he earned his Master’s degree—and met his wife, Katie, with whom he has shared 37 years of marriage.
Greg and Katie later settled in Coalinga, where they raised their four sons. Over the course of his 45-year career in education, Greg earned two awards from the National Endowment for the Humanities, published a book and a poster, and developed a second vocation as a motivational speaker focused on excellence and living a balanced life.
Now retired in Elkhorn, Greg continues to share his message and enjoys life in Nebraska—fittingly known as the “Good Life.”
